I was supposed to text you,
And I did, for a while.
But then I got caught up in my life,
and forgot about your smile.
How excited you'd get when we talked,
It was mutual, I hope you know.
I wish that I would have talked to you
More often than I did.
But now I just find myself wishing,
For just a few more minutes.
So I could send you a text
And let you know that I love you.
