Down Dalmatian Pup!

Two three four five six seven eight nine ten won
Ten nine eight seven six five four three two one
I can count down up
Down dalmation pup!
One hundred and two squared equal four for fun

D-egrees or not
O-ne should count from nought
W-ith accuracy up to ten
N-ine times on fingers ten
D-own or up at least
A-nd then point east
L-earning is divine
T-errible at the vine
I-f you cant count wine
A-nd barrels made of pine
N-ow if you cannot count
P-uppies their numbers mount
U-nder circumstance shout
P-ups! "DOWN DALMATIAN PUP! "

Down Dalmatian Pup!

Literacy is a right if you want a fair chance, a fair fight in this life full of strife to live a better life. Our kids need to feed on appropriate proportionate pro-literacy propaganga in order that they know the story and significance of the goose and gander. That the gender equality is engendered in their gentle youthful psyches in order not to impede their psychological development. The psycho social impact of pervasive literacy should not, must not and cannot be under estimated. The philosiphy of a boy child being more suited to endowing with superior literacy to the exclusion of the girl is now antiquated.

The basic understanding of counting up and down, then down and up is crucial to the development of literacy. The moment your child's cognitive skills are matured enough, the introduction of numeracy and the accuracy and understanding therefore, can have life changing consequences. A child able to understand numeracy at the earliest table in kindergatten develops confidence and these are the future leaders; confident, numerate, literate and accurate. You as a parent, once your child shows numeracy aptitude, are obliged to sponsor a trip to the movies to let your child be mesmerised by those cuddly bubbly 101 Dalmatians. You can then expect your toddler to appreciate the power and value of counting as a basis of making progress in life.

Of course the inadvertent uintended consequence of your movie sojourn is that your child will now want his/her own 101 persky adorable Dalmatians so that everyday at home all you hear is "Down Dalmatian Pup! ".

The cost of not having a numerate child and indeed an educated person is much higher than getting 102 Dalmatians. Educate a girl child you educate a whole nation. Educate a boy child you get a wheelerdealer mafioso. Educate both and you get a developed well balanced nation. (Sorry, guys, thats meant as a joke) .
