Courage Poem by Edwina Reizer

I will not look behind.
I shall look ahead.
I will cast my fate
to the winds instead.
For bravery must certainly come
as a challenge to each.
Cowardice is for those
too afraid to reach
and conquer their soul.
They will come up short
and never be whole.
So I'll plan for success
and I will succeed,
Fortitude and persistence
are all I need.
I will keep my vision
in front of me
so I may become
who I want to be.
