Cogito, Ergo Sum

Rating: 5.0

'Cogito, ergo sum.' - - 'I think, therefore I am.'
Wise words from a famous man, my friend,
but did you ever hear how
René Descartes met his end?

He and a buddy were in a bar,
having a drink and a cigar,
talking of life and their wives' cooking
when his friend suddenly said
'Say, mon ami, do you think I'm good looking? '

Descartes looked at him; his eyes
were beady and his nose was flat.
'I think not, ' he said, and poof!
He was gone just like that!
