for almost 200 kilometers
before I realized
it was bird poop on my windshield.

Hahaha! Very funny! There is an amazing metaphor in this poem, incredible how we can follow and sincerely believe the 'crap' that hits our daily windshields of life; you've given us wisdom to ensure that what we see is really what we think we see. Great!
