Cheers to a new beginning
It's been such a tedious journey
Taking a step back in time
Had to pause, look back where it's all going
Trying to find the lost me
Just the best thing to do now
Life makes you learn and bow
Cheers to a new beginning

My first step to a new life
Sorting where everything fits best
It's taken so much courage
Blessed to find people
Who are always there to encourage
They remain pillars of my life
In this new awakening
Cheers to a new beginning



Still strong when holding on to nothing
God's given so much grace
To live back again
Not counting the wreck and pain
There's so much to cover
As an arduous path lies ahead
Thankful to all who are with me today
