Capitalism is the world's cruellest religion.
Amazon is now a moderncathedral.
We constantly worship its garish, golden idols.
While its warehouse workers: pushed to breaking point, barely
Survive on basic minimum wages. There is no
Mercy or forgiveness; only cold, hard business.
Crude competition is at the heart of the rat race.
You have to be aggressive, ambitious to keep up
With the relentless pace. There is no room anymore
For compassion. Only rapacious avarice and
Greed will get you where you want to be in this world
That's headed like a speeding train towards oblivion.
