Bukowski

Charles Bukowski lived and died
in America, though he was born
in Andernach, Germany
I've read some of his poems
of which he wrote so many

He wrote a lot of novels too
'Post Office' for example is a damn good book
and I recommend that you give it a look.

He liked a good drink
and if you ever saw him you knew it
He liked a good smoke too
just a little bit.

He published his first story in nineteen forty four
and his last, 'pulp' in nineteen ninety four.
He died at the age of seventy three
his writing did so much inspire me.
