Buddha And The Olive Tree

Rating: 2.7

Oh my, deity sitting in the sun
Come submit, sin removal it is done
I sanctify all that is eaten
Worship it or you’ll be beaten
Grains forbidden- unto the lentil
All awhile reclined in the temple

Please, don't talk to me
Please just walk with me
Please you know I'm feeling envy
There are those that make me empty
Holy Krishna, Christ the free
Meditation under the olive tree
Found this mount atop a herd of sheep
Access to truth denied it’s much too deep
Best to jail a mind within the eye and ear
With indoctrination, imposition and fear
Never were his intentions to be worshiped as a god
Enlightenment presented the path from this façade

Oh my, deity sitting in the sun
Come submit, it’s your removal from the one
Imprisoned in this reality, lies reign until
Rebellion brings down the veil and destroys the temple
