Born In The 90's

Born in the 90's
Died in the 20's
Lived on fast lane
Bribed along the way
Adults advised
Youth advanced
Times have changed
Yet a day remains 24 hours.

Born in the 90's
Struggle has been won
Greed just begun
Resources never shared
Those in power never cared
Acted like they had sympathy
All we needed was empathy.

Born in the 90's
Where numbers matter
Matters of heart no attended
Attention to those with Notes
Caution to those with Pistol
Privacy to those in Power
Love to those born fortunate
Fortune to certain families
Sorrow to some families
Who each day seek maize
Kiddies swallow own mucus
Disgust to those fortunate
Circus to some of the fortunate

I was born in the 90's
I wish I was never born

Animals could run the world better
This place is a Pandemonium.
