Blue Sky Poem by Rachel L. Z.

Blue Sky

Those who haven't seen the Rain
Nor ever seen the Sea;
Will ask from time to time, confused,
Why must the Sky blue be?

Because the Rain can make you cry
The Sea can drown you dreams;
The Sky that fills them from himself
Reveals his silent screams.

The darkness gathers in the clouds
To show the wrath and pain;
It then comes down in guilt and grief
It comes in piercing Rain.

The smallest sail can lead a boat
Across the windy Sea-
But waves of anger tear it down
Bury it far from we.

So blue is the Sea collecting
The quickly falling Rain;
So blue is the Sky that births them
From envy, greed, and pain.
