Back Away From Evil

Why can't you back away from evil.
And not be part of it.
What is it that evil attracts.
You feel keeps you relaxed.
Why can't you back away from evil.
With a not returning back.
Why is it that it's evil,
Known to entrap.
Chewing on broken hearts.
Enjoyed like snacks.

Why can't you back away from evil.
Is this a choice you choose.
Because there's many people.
Disappointed with love too.
To know what evil does.
Evil tricks to make more fools.

Evil will leave you laying in pain.
On your back flat.
Evil will leave you with nothing gained.
But on your back flat.
Left where you're at.
And that is a fact.
You ain't goin' nowhere,
When an evil attracts.

Evil will leave you laying in pain.
On your back flat.
With evil there is nothing you will gain.
But on your back flat.
Wishing for some lovin'.
Well forget about that.

Evil will leave you laying in pain.
To have it remain.
Evil will leave you laying in pain.

Evil will leave you laying in pain.
Maintained.
To have it remain.

Why can't you back away from evil.
Why can't you see what evil's done,
Already to the people.
