Await (Ode To Kodi)

As I await on your return, it was evident that you were not coming back for me.
Forgotten I am left astray, unwanted, unloved yet my heart bleeds and I let it be.
What can I do? What can I say? Stop with the what can I’s! what about her? She that left you…hmmm?
I don’t understand. My head spins thinking of her as my heart cries out yearning for her.
Come back to me! I know no other words but sorrow when you are gone. How do I live without you? Without you seems like there will never be another tomorrow. It seems like eternity, seconds turns into minutes and minutes turns into hours stolen from time that we could have cherished and spent together; yet here we are apart. It is a risk one takes to fall in love, but to fall in love you must feel pain, to feel pain something must hurt and be broken…………tis my heart.
