Almost Home Poem by Katheryn Foley

Almost Home

I miss the sound of your voice,
I miss the smell of your skin,
and everything,
In between,
I miss every part of you that touched,
every part of me,
I'm lacking all my senses,
Your heart as big as the moon,
Your face as pure as the water I drink,
Knowing I'll hold you soon,
All it takes is a blink,
Because I can't stand to think,
I'm missing you,
I'm wanting you,
