All The Virtues, With All Valour Poem by james watkin

All The Virtues, With All Valour

All the virtues, with all valour
Of lowly Earth's sun-enkindled
Expressions of beauty
Sprout obediently.
All, including Faithfulness, out
Of a Winter's self-effacement
Smile forth a la daisy.

Pushing trifles' seeming boulders
Perseverance the Tulip dons.
In affronts of weather
Tolerance wears Heather.
Each, for air, exhaling goodness
Peace of gardens perfect, where pure
Thoughts are raised together.
