All I Want Or Need: Poem by Dwayne Bailey

I remember sitting by the lake,
Holding you close to me;
Feeling so excited,
As I asked you my wife to be.

I opened up the ring box,
Held it in your sight;
Said I wanted to be with you forever,
And hold you every night.

You said yes and then we held,
Each other for awhile;
I felt like I was twenty again,
Unable to contain my smile.

Since that day inside my heart,
A love that’s strong and true;
Has grown beyond my wildest dreams,
Pam I am so in love with you.

I cant wait for us to get married,
And a new life us to share;
Being together daily,
Helping each other with the burdens we bare.

For together we form a family,
Blended together as one;
Sharing each others hopes and dreams,
Enjoying each others fun.

Pam I am so very happy,
You said yes to becoming my wife;
Your all I want, your all I need,
To complete my life!
