A Valentine For Cousins Poem by Genice Lorraine De Fabriciano

A Valentine For Cousins

A Valentine for cousins 1st,2nd,3rd & 4th
Because I may not say it
Here, now, I say I care
They need not try for love
Love granted bonds at birth
My love for you automatic
When welcomed at your birth.

Cousin, we may not see each other
Be far apart for years
But in my heart I carry you
As if you're closely near
Our lives may intersect
More often times than not
Know if you ever need me
A friend in me you got
Just the fact that we're related
Makes you a part of me
A village full of cousins
We are weaved eternally.
Cousin, it's when I hear you're happy
My heart is happy for you too!
I send you instant love with hope
For the best of life to you.
Whether directly connected
Or through the family's grapevine
I hear about your life
And ask, are they all doing fine?
Cousin, because you and your happiness matters
And your value is worthy of the best
This Valentine is especially for you
My heart says all the rest

Love you Cousins, each and every one of you!
