A Trip Down Memory Lane

I took a trip down memory lane
Not far from Dreamers Street
I walked awhile and felt quite drained
Just standing on my feet
I'd been so long in Lockdown road
I think my fitness faltered
My mind went into overload
As everything had altered
No people in my data bank
From times I might recall
Just health workers that we can thank
Who answered the nations call
For now I'm left in a cul-de-sac
With nothing but my mind
And wondering when we will all be back
To safe and better times
