A Tribute

One face to face meeting with my father dear
Once I had craved with my heart entire
Which craving proved futile on this side of the grave
Naturally, as he had vanished to the shore beyond
Enfolded in the darkest dark or in the richest glow radiant
My profoundest intuition doesn't offer the clue slightest
If one can soar upto the heavens on the wings of love
I'm sure he is relaxing somewhere on the boughs of Life
Perhaps I've grown wiser now, I'm not keen on the interview
Better follow his lead and steadily ascend heavenward
