A Sonnet For The Mother Bird

Rating: 3.9

</>By knowledge, God has given the bird
To teach us all about true love.
She builds her nest, and raises her young
With wisdom from the Father above.
She daily gathers food for them,
And tenderly feeds them beak to beak,
The way in which she cares for her young
Is so beautiful and unique.
She lovingly gathers her brood,
And covers them beneath her wings
To shelter them from the elements
And from every harmful thing.
Oh, what precious story is heard
In the 'love of the mother bird.'
