Thank you for this wonderful poem, David! you have it posted in my inbox, since, then, i always read it whenever i have the time., Amen and amen to this, in Jesus name! ..
I second that David, and third and fourth it too! ! ! ! A wonderful prayer and how wonderful life would be if we could only have it granted. Just lovely. I hope the Lord has read it. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
Amen! I was just listening to 'Imagine' by John Lennon this morning, and thinking that very same thing, David. What is it that makes some people beg for conflict, pain, suffering, and death? They start out as babies just as we all do, but when does this begin to take over their minds? Is it inbred or acquired? Is it genetic in nature? Are they products of their invironment? Some people just exude evil - you can see it in their eyes. Why can't love reach them? Thought-provoking read, David - powerful stuff! Linda
Only if the Lord would listen that would be a fine day to witness. Superb write very heartfelt and without selfishness. Nice to see a poem not focused on the writer but what is going on around him.10 from me friend. Thanks for the share
Hell, you aren't asking much... and here's me still being happy for you over a certain young Emily Mae. However... yes... it's a beautiful piece D...sort of calming, and to be able to have such an effect on your readership is masterful. t x
It's wonderful to know that we can speak to our Father and ask for his help. Whatever his answer, we know that he knows best. A lovely prayer for peace David.--Melvina--
