Reflective, and poignant quilling, Ravi...Here in the U.S.A., this work would serve as a most apropos offering for tomorrow, in the U.S.A.Tomorrow, Monday, is Memorial Day in the United States, a day of a myriad emotions ranging from parades & cheering, to gravesite tears, prayer & homage in honour of those who laid their lives down for our Freedom, in every War since America won it's Independence over 230 years ago. I like the subtle morosity that sets the tone of this work from its get-go....However, the impact effect of the final stanza places an exclamation point on the entire piece.Stellar Work, Ravi. F j R

Walking along with this silent witness I visualize the past, the present and lamentations in graveyards and trains leaving stations will continue into our future too...'all are equal' if only man can accept this fact. Thank you for this tribute to trees and the message therein
what a tree....! yes trees are the silent witnesses of the events of time....nice write...
