I was confidence personified
I was fire that can't be put off
I also had this thirst, unquenchable
You see, like every other, I too
Was engaged in those feelings
All because you loved me
Ah, the confidence
That love can instill!
What I was made to believe
All because you loved me
Now, I chew the cud off
The stuff ruminations
Are made of!
All because you once loved me
