A Passing Smile Poem by james watkin

A Passing Smile

Living on Easy Street.
Smoothest there's been.
Its gold, snatched. In return
Run out, more keen
This daily stretch left me
Of hours, work-chained.
Heavey-hearted, had dragged.
Free spirit pained.
