A Leaf On The Wind Poem by Matthew Moore

A Leaf On The Wind

Rating: 5.0

I don't know where I'm going
But does it even matter?
How many goals have I set?
How many dreams will shatter?

I've come so far,
But there's still a way to go.
Take me to my horizon!
The wind continues to blow

Keep me strong
Through the storms and rain
Keep me from tearing
Let me take the strain

Tumbling, rolling
Buffeted on the breeze
How much longer?
Will I fight or freeze?

Tranquil waters?
Or sunshafts bright?
Where will I land?
At the end of my flight?

Through the light,
And through chilling snow,
Ever onward,
The wind continues to blow!
