A great deal of work

I open my eyes slowly
and find myself gradually
the first thing to do is prayers
and surrender to the creator

I take a vow not to wish wrong for others
for the whole day and offer
my efforts for doing the good things
it is always a good wish to bring calm and peace

I take on to my daily routine
I read others and confine
to myself over what has been written
and then come over it with my own

It is an influence of prayers
that I am able to concentrate and think over
on the burning issues of the society
and write on it humanly

since it requires great deal of work
I try to choose a simple set of words
but I need not try for it
as it flows wherever themes fit it properly
