A Good Woman

I want a good woman
That is all that I want,
That is my wish and my hope
In my mind it still does haunt.
I want her at my side
I want her in my arms,
In my thoughts she will always reside
With her looks, cares and charms.
I go to bed all alone
I wish that I really did not,
A good woman at my side I wish there was
For her I have searched and sought.
A good woman is loyal
A good woman is trustworthy and dependable,
She inspires a man to always do good
She is not ever vendible.
I have searched to my left and to my right
I have searched all around,
Women have used and cheated on me
Sadly a good woman, I have not yet found.
In the Bible indeed it is written
First it was man who God did make
I havelooked and searched for that woman
God created woman, for man's sake.
I want happiness, kindness and joy
Underneath the moon and the stars and the sun,
I need peace and love and serendipity
I want a good woman.
