A Full English Breakfast Poem by DM W

A Full English Breakfast

Rating: 5.0

Are you ready for this? Let's go!
Rashers of bacon, tomatoes,
Sausages, black pudding, mushrooms,
Fried bread and our stomachs are doomed!
Then scrambled eggs; perhaps baked beans.
Though some find it rather obscene,
Washed down with several cups of tea,
A full English breakfast suits me!
One wonders if there's any room
Left for a slice of toast or two?

A Full English is an absolute welcome bliss on an empty stomach. Greasy and unhealthy is part of its lure you know too many are bad for you but when hunger calls its the torpedoes time. A marvellous poem Dominic that tells it how it is. a ravishing 10+ from me and time to put the kettle on for a cuppa. Many thanks and take care.
