A Clear Shot At Animus

Fred's not a hunter
but Animus is a beast
he'd hunt down and kill

and mount on his wall
if he had a clear shot
while Animus is eating

something it has killed.
Animus lives in his heart
not in the jungle or city.

It has been snarling
for years at all the people
Fred says have bothered him.

Fred doesn't know why
but he asks that you please
stop Animus if you can.
