2012

It's 2012
And I'm happy to be myself
I'm happy to be alive

The theatre is calling for me
It's waiting for me
All those kids and all those adults
They're all waiting for me

Also waiting for me
Down the road
As the days and months fly by
The mermaids and fairies lie in wait
They're waiting for me
To discuss the innocence of the world
And what's left of it

It's 2012
And magic dust will surely appear
If a building or two burns down or falls apart
Kings, queens, princes, and princesses will surely find
love and friendship from withing their hearts
As well as being grateful to receive their crowns
The beautiful maidens will look beautiful in all of their
dresses
And all their jewelry as well
Nonetheless

Daydreams of champagne linger in many minds
While stars are hopeful to shine

It's 2012
And I'm happy to be myself
I'm happy to be alive
