Hi Risha, Kumaran Asan had a little child in him even after was acknowledged as a great poet. This poem is the example. And a poem for child is to be read, understood and enjoyed by a child. Your translation has come out wonderfully well, showing how you enjoyed it. This poem was in our classroom text for standard two or three. From that, till this, this is one of my most favourite poems. Great going. Do write more.. All the best..
