Noel Potter Poems

In the stillness of the night,
Uncertainty grips tight,
Pain pills, meth, and heroin,
Silent killers of kin.
...

Sick of the feeling I get
When I don't have you
Tired of the struggle
Always facing it alone.
...

In the quiet of the night, guilt creeps in,
A shadow cast by the choices I've made.
Pain pills, oxycodone, oxymorphone, and Xanax,
A cocktail of numbness to escape the pain.
...

A cocktail of destruction, a path I walked along.
Each pill swallowed, each hit taken,
A temporary escape from the pain I've been fighting,
...

In the shadows, we find our strength,
My Twisted minds, determined at length.
Tweeking our focus, never sleeping,
Window peeping, our secrets keeping.
...

My words dance on empty pages,
Ink flowing freely from my pen.
Each line a glimpse into my soul,
Emotions spilled, thoughts blend.
...

The Best Poem Of Noel Potter

Overdosed.

In the stillness of the night,
Uncertainty grips tight,
Pain pills, meth, and heroin,
Silent killers of kin.

Fentanyl whispers sweet lies,
As loved ones slowly die,
The body, worn and bruised,
From drugs constantly abused.

Waking up to the harsh truth,
Of lives lost in their youth,
The fight they couldn't win,
Against the demons within.

So we mourn the ones we've lost,
Their lives now but a cost,
To the grip of addiction's hold,
Leaving us feeling cold.

In the darkness, we reflect,
On the paths we neglect,
And the choices we make,
For our own sake.
