Yes, my love
true love may be elusive
As we seek the ethereal with senses material
fraught with doubt to fill one’s heart

The word went out - “For $75 you can take a workshop with Billy.”

High Noon, fifteen of us gather at a table beneath a shade tree near the sea.

From whence rain sprung
tis a mystery
how it flows through all life
from beginning of eternity
...

I awoke adrift
in endless sea
waters churning with yearning
then
...

Atlantis rising
from depths of blue
Yielding forgotten secrets
of those like you
...

I awoke one spring morning
and pondered
Does the tree produce seeds to
make more trees
...

And soon the vaults were empty
of the stuff we call money
as many lost sleep at night
in a dream of deep fright
...

Sleep is crucial to our survival
without it we die
so the next time you sleep in
remember it is akin

TV news reports my
friend’s brother death
I telephone his home, a stranger’s voice -
then my friend says “hello”

From padded window seat inside warm café
cold wind shuffles sidewalk leaves
as a cup of tea warms my hands
Two tables away sit two men
...

Yes, we both know, my love
true love is elusive in life's journey
As we seek the ethereal with senses material
we are often fraught with doubt as we fill our hearts

my eyes devour you – you tease my salivating tongue as it rolls
to fathom your form – the flow of juices anticipate your sweet and sour
as I contemplate a chew on you
to masticate your meanings into delicious shreds

Who says is
is not
Who does
is
...

While halfway sleeping and waking
I feel your sensual caress
Your vibrations gently sweeping my face
with the world’s finest lace

The colt galloped across open plain
Daring reality with freedom found
Leaving hoof prints in dry dirt as proof
Something alive had made its mark

Singing through the sparkling night sky
the sound of winter’s chilling cry
Trees dancing with delight to a tune
sung in chorus under a smiling moon

Like a leaf flitting to and fro through the shifting air from up high to low - destined for new beginning – transforming – never the same – a moment grasped in hand from infinity to form shape in time to fill void with something collected from less into more

Like a bird filling air with wave after wave of specific sound from center of being – finding origin from source deep within – to capture, compress and release the invisible as audible – to allow listening ear to hear song of moment – as focused energy for limited time flowing as something from nothing – to fashion godly fate on wing from chords touched by tension of tone – tone that stimulates stomata under leaf – just as our universe fills space with pulsing waves of material essence born from nowhere seen or known – having source through ethereal chords of celestial being – stimulating matter to manifest as multidimensional reality through concentration of vibration

Flowing waters fashion soils from stuff of stars
as swirling cycles of atomic sun create seeds just for fun

All to grace our Earth with life born from strife and love

To be honest – inspiration may be found anywhere, anytime, in anything
A gaggle of geese flying overhead
Sitting in an outhouse in the middle of the woods
A weed growing through a crack in the middle of a paved parking lot

Elusive Love

Yes, my love
true love may be elusive
As we seek the ethereal with senses material
fraught with doubt to fill one’s heart
with loveless drought
But yet
we struggle to believe
and live with hopeful heart open
against all odds in this world of woes
Struggle to find emotional calm in this
stormy realm
To live a life of unwavering trust
with the thought of finding love
undeniable
A love that is felt with knowing intuition
unquestionable
And, when we find such a love – beware
my love
For such a discovery can easily slip
into depths miserable
As doubt creeps into your mind
from others who know love not
From others who cast their dark veil
over your heart’s loving eye
So you become blind to the light of
of our newly found love
As I helplessly watch you sadly return
to lonely domain
seeking love in worldly terrain
A living love poem with endless refrain
