All Those Who Live

Not all those who live
will live forever.
The body is temporary.
The mind is mortal.
The soul is hope.
Hope that our existence extends beyond the grave.
Hope that our flatline isn't the end of the line.
Hope that the seconds can't be wasted,
That the minutes can't be dwindled away,
That these fleeting hours can't be squandered.
But they can.
Time is of the essence because its evanescent.

All those who love
will live forever.
The body is temporary.
The mind is mortal.
But love is always.
True love tricks death.
True love is the ace of hearts that's up all of our sleeves.
True love cheats the reaper while satisfying the gravedigger.
It gives us the chance to touch hearts and make memories.
A chance to make the most out of our momentary stint in the world.
A chance to live forever.

Not all those who live
will live forever,
But all those who love
Will never truly die.
They will live on in the memories they made.
Their coffin will lie 6 feet deep,
but their heaven will be in the hearts of those they loved.
The only way to truly live is to truly love,
And the only way to truly die
is to waste your precious time doing anything else.
