Weniki Mahyna Poems
Can you remember? I don't have wings, But as long as the sun May shine,
To have and to hold
Are you mine? Am I your's? To have and to hold, As long as the Sun may shine and the oceans continue to rock and wave?
The flashing lightning, The booming thunder, Pouring rains, Devastating darkness,
Pretty, pretty songbird, With shining feathers of emerald and gold, Tell me, please,
You'll be mine
You'll be mine, And I'll be yours. You'll hold me When I cry.
Time for my birth, a child of the Earth. Time for my life, though sharp like a knife.
Meadows, rain clouds and pain, I will dance through it all and happily. Stars, sun, moon and snow, Will you dance through it all?
Hunter cat, Have you made your catch? She was in the meadow, Sweet as can be, this beautiful ting.
