it holds secrets of longing yet discovered.

but why on earth would I let you
behind this wall.

word of colours silently scream
and truth belongs only to me.

Hands drip, cold,
fevered claws cling
to neverending visages
of tormented rest.

all I am
if not carved from
temptations shaking hands.

I don't need you
to make me happy,
but I want you here
to help me breathe,

You can smell it in the air
long before the pavement darkens
with each fat, slow drop.
Electricity sparks upon our flesh

Memories make a liar of me,
their shadowed existence
never saw the sun
of your smile,

You have breathed new life into my soul,
where you shall swim forevermore,
into oceans of deep green fire,
I am slave to your desires,

Summer-sun kisses cover naked feet,
but fail to warm my soul.
