Velvet Bloodlust Poems
An ice cube in a glass of wine, that has since lost it's cold. Wrinkled skin and furrowed brows, the young as since gone old.
Eyes red and dry, for sleep is not nigh, the body feels so low, yet the head is up high. Staring at the screen, the screen that's not so clean, moving pixels makes a movie, that's absolutely obscene.
Combining man and machine, efficient and clean, superior intelligence, clever and keen.

An ice cube in a glass of wine,
that has since lost it's cold.
Wrinkled skin and furrowed brows,
the young as since gone old.
Factory smoke paints the sky,
from blue to rusty gold.
Look in your eye and tell a lie,
the truth remains untold.
