Lost

Running through maze of walls and unending paths,
Into the darkness created by his crafts
He leaves behind little crumbs of existence .

Traversing  new paths every moment, he's free.
Walking on the ground on the roads made, he's bound.
He knows not that he's trapped for everyday seems new.

It's an illusion he doesn't understand.
He eats, sleeps and repeats in his own terrene
Content with present, oblivious of future

Not lot but he is curious for he can see
And witness  expanse of the sky above him,
But lacks will to climb the vines of fortuity .

With ears extending to the horizons
And eyes transfixed from the letter to the road,
He dreams in wonder, in wonder he shall  die.

Every day he changed homes but each day he slept .
He slept but under a sound not of his maze
It came from the world outside his sweet haven

It came from the world where the magic happened .
Filled with the knowledge of ignorance, he lay.
He wanted to see outside but never stepped up.

He had a map of the world but he was lost,
Perplexed in the confines of his own making,
Running through maze of walls and unending paths.

Often he promised to use the resources
As often he got scared of fighting oneself.
He knew that he had to transcend from darkness.

And one day show the world his strong existence .
But he wasn't resolute to break his shell,
Waited for that one day to come till it came.
