The Art Of Letting Go

The art of letting go,
A stupid idea but it's the thing you've got to do when it's your time to go,
Think I've been trapped in this silly feelings of mine,
Yes, it's hard to be in this state but it's fine.

I've given my heart to someone,
It was long before but still he got that one, ,
With that person whom I gave my heart,
Why does heart needs to be tore apart?
Been a long while but still why?
Why can't my feelings just go away and fly?
Free my heart like a bird flying in the sky,
Heal the pain and wipe the tears as my eyes cry.

I hope someday this kind of feels will go away,
I hope so, and this is what I pray,
To have a rainbow instead of a sky that's gray,
Then i wouldn't have to cry for the next day.

Now that I've said all these things to you,
Maybe it's time for me to let you go,
Not in the sense that I will be leaving you,
But in the sense that I will just forget my feelings for you.

Things might be awkward,
But let's keep going forward,
It's not me being a coward,
But things are complicated and it's hard.

Though I know you're not into me,
Still You are something great to me,
But I thank you for being there
And showing me how much you care.
