Tsani Jones Poems

It was the taste
Of salt water on those
Soft pillow lips that reminded
Him of making love to her on the beach...
...

You can never utter the lines
I do.
Never speak the stanzas I
So desperately want to hear...
...

I dare you.
Tell me the earth does not
Spin on an axis of our love.
...

Hold tightly, love softly,
Kiss me with flames-
For when the bough breaks
It won't be gentle.
...

If I had a kiss
For every time
I hungrily gazed at your lips
Time would never end.
...

Love is the web where
The heart's prey begs
To be consumed...
...

Her spirit walks among
The stones and skulls
As a love
Burns in effigy.
...

I am the monk of her love,
Praying the prayers no others
Can hear,
Feeling the solace no others
...

My Love! My Direction!
Call my name, gently,
As the breeze kisses the trees,
And I will flow softly,
...

10.

Melt down, my darling, melt...
Let the love from your jewelled heart
Flow like a river, down,
To the stream where I,
...

We shared words of anger
Earlier in the day.
You replied,
'We'll settle this,
...

I hear them cry
Sad songs of
Love lost,
Dreams splintered,
...

Divinity is light.
In the deep recesses of her eyes
I see the purity of it, a crystal
Glow, burning, soothing,
...

In the dew, a new birth arises.
The first shoot of green
A new blade of grass
Lifts toward the sky.
...

Open your heart to me
I am your power and strength...
Rising, entwined around your spine,
I am your kundalini.
...

My heart hurts.
I know the pain,
It has been there so long
I wouldn't know life without it,
...

I took a trip today
To claim my identity.
A silver ring, that used
To represent friendship
...

I think too much.

Laughing to myself
On a one way trip
...

The wings were new,
She fluttered for a moment,
Surprised.
This was not her life.
...

It is 5pm in a place
Where time does not exist.
You sit, within reach,
Casting your soft glow

Tsani Jones Biography

I wait for love that does not find me. I survive in the mud to become clean. I die to their nature to find life. Life is pain... but this experience is what we have chosen, this path is a holy path. She is waiting, she is moving. Closer. Back to my arms, back to our glory, back to a love that has not been seen since Christ. Pain has a payoff. I would not have ordered the misery in my life without it. It is all a matter of faith. And I believe. I look rough, feel worn, but her love shall be my robe, the jewels in her eyes my crown. And I will be her terrible power, her warmth, her everything. Life is love... but it must possess you, like a spirit that can never die, an action without regard to consequence, a fuel to propel you. I will return.)

It was the taste
Of salt water on those
Soft pillow lips that reminded
Him of making love to her on the beach...

Under the stars
A glowing tapestry
Of god's chiristmas lights
Sparkling, every day a new holiday to celebrate.

Through his love-stained goggles
It was not mere illumination,
But a heavenly candy store
Of divine sugar crystal.

And he adored her.

A smell of lavender
Coupled with the flower
Of her womanhood
Mixed into a floral shop
Designed by Nature.

Her hair was as the
Flames of Troy burning,
As the ships of his heartbreak
Disintegrate into the sea.

When she swam in his
Terrible oceanic eyes,
Smelled his body of seafoam,
She was there, too.
