Ponder what you may
For you designed this day, yesterday

As a child I squeezed under the gates of the friendly confines
Watched as each spring center field's growing vines
I spiraled upward to the top of Wrigley Field
Rode a screaming fire truck as all traffic yield

What has happen to expressing our feelings?
Misunderstandings abound and leave all reeling
What stops so many from being open and clear?
...
I ponder the question of how can it be?
Is there something wrong, is it her or me?
She became my student though we met at a dating site

The Seed
The world has sown it’s flowers so long ago
The soil remained dry but with time they began to grow
Dormant for eons the earth shall break
After all freedom was is at stake
As water wears away all within it’s path
The rock of fear crumbles and left in the past
Freedom is the flower of all mankind
God given freedom is yours and mine
The dictators fall with each new morn
Fear not, cherish love and freedom is born
Our world is changing just as the mayan said
The change is not fear but love instead
Meditate and find just cause
Relax, be quiet and your soul will be reborn
Open your heart with a new mind
Understand what God creates is all divine
Spread the word of the new world to all that you see
Do this with love, touch and integrity
Compassion shall rule the day
Freedom and love shall provide the way
