Timothy hopkins Poems

1.

I feel so empty
The emptiness that only depression can fill
Cased by stress the emptiness grows
Like a tornado devouring all in its path
...

On the ground I lay
Motionless in pain
I can see my life flash before me
Then I fall asleep
...

In the days when i was lonely,
In the days when my heart wondered for love,
In the days when the sun burnt my joy,
In the days when the wind blew my hope,
...

Life is like a seed that blooms into a beautiful flower
And death is like a blade that slashes the skin
...

Tears fall like raindrops
From a soul filed with fear
Fear of darkness within
Both far and so near
...

6.

as children we are young
born in the world
that's falling apart
pain and war killing use off
...

7.

Down to the river to drown
As i look up through the water
im going down
I fell like im dieing
...

What am I to you?
You give me my stress
You're the reason I can't sleep
You cos my depression
...

Around, all around, the dark memories gather.
My dread grows as the stroke of death falls against my heart.
It slays me, and darkly my
life's blood drips
...

The night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak, soulless are we.
The emotion for which you sacrifice yourself
flares once, then dies,
crushed by madness.
...

The night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak, soulless are we.
The emotion for which you pray
flares once, then dies,
smothered by your obsession.
...

Around, all around, the dark memories gather
My dread grows as the Dark One's touch falls against my neck
It slays me, and darkly my
life's blood drips
...

I didn't know what love was
Until you came around
You got me planted to the ground
But you walk all over me laughing
...

I guess I just a ghost cuz everybody walks through me
If I died in class they would probably say they knew me
Or they wouldn't even care they wouldn't even move
A dead body rotting in the back of the room
...

16.

To the last breath
To the last bullet
To the last man standing
We fight
...

Empty

I feel so empty
The emptiness that only depression can fill
Cased by stress the emptiness grows
Like a tornado devouring all in its path
Slowly tarring my soul to shreds
I now know that my depression is my stress
Which creates this vast empty hole
That the emptiness of depression can fill
So I can't heal
