Anna Marie O Sullivan I could see tomorrow in your eyes
I could see a future from our very first line
I could see our cocoon release our butterfly in time

I could see you slowly changing me
positivity awakening in my soul as we wrote each new line

I could see inside me a spark slowly become a flame
it felt so real to me for the very first time
I could see our cocoon release our butterfly in time

i could see two people learning to understand each others world
problems simply obstacles to be overcome with each new line

But I simply could not make you see what I could see
to my love you were blind that was your crime

thank you for the time we spent together you have my heart
together or apart its now yours to hold in time
our butterfly never spread its wings, a lovers crime
