Head sinking down in shame for the perfidious fate

I will go up the hills again
To be with the silver cloud
To feel wind against my face
That blows fast howling aloud

As the sun drops down in the sky
They come out to sit on the stairs
And it is for them a daily affair
The village lasses young and fair

You give me a rose
As a token of love
Pure and sublime
It grows fresh and

I so much love the cloud
That I like to fly with it
I like to see the rivers, plains,
Valleys and mountains from

I walk upon the land that
Is green with grass, full and fresh
Spring has draped the earth
With a colorful and vibrant dress

While roaming through the valley
From a distance I hear chiming of a bell
It comes somewhere from the lap of the
Mountains and flits across the silent dale

I keep silence
And listen to the whispering
Of the cool wind
Its many tales

One time you were a flower
Fresh and new and beautiful
You had bees and butterflies hovering
Around you; sucking nectar and swinging
