Thistle Wargul Poems

When will you listen?
When will you hear?
When will the shell you live in
Finally disappear?
...

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack,
Who loved playing with his friends and having a good yak.
One day in the woods he met a big bear
Which gave him a bigger scare.
...

It’s mothers day, it’s mothers day,
And not a day to weep,
Its mothers day, not brothers day’
And there’s no time to time to sleep,
...

A deceitful cuckoo,
A parasite on the faithful parents
Of the chick it just killed.
...

A salty dropp swells up
With sorrow from a glistening eye.
It slides down slowly off the nose,
Leaving a shiny wet trail behind.
...

My friend I’ve got a thing to tell you,
A thing I’d rather not.
A secret I wish could be prevented,
A secret that cannot.
...

You think that the world hates you:
That not a soul cares,
But because you hated the
World too,
...

Twinkling in the mid-night velvet,
Sparkling pricks of light.
Hanging in the empty abyss
Of empty outer space.
...

Watching the ticking of the clock,
Tick-tock tick-tock
The clock that counts our days away.
Tick-tock tick-tock
...

Every minute of every day,
Every second of every play,
I’m being bullied!
...

Helpless to help
Too sad for sorrow,
Here yesterday
Just gone tomorrow.
...

You see me sitting with me friends,
And think of love, and other ends,
But what happens if I am not,
Just a pretty face?
...

The wolf sits alone, as still as a statue.
Its limbs are in perfect proportion
With beautiful and sleek starlight fur.
Its white flecked ears flick as it listens,
...

Clawing, cursing,
Biting, crunching,
Bones are breaking, lives are taken.
Slicing, chopping,
...

When you lived and lost
Life still carries on.
Believe in yourself!
When you finally lose
...

A child.
A small child.

Bathed in laughter of his playmates.
...

I’m here.
Caught.
On my own.
...

The dawn now is breaking,
The sunlight is quaking,
The air here is different,
Adapting, adapting.
...

I see it falling through the air,
Sparkling in the light.
I see it breaking on the floor,
Shining unearthly bright.
...

Peaking through your fingers,
Stealing precious moments,
Watching every movement,
And never catching on!
...

Fallen Angel

When will you listen?
When will you hear?
When will the shell you live in
Finally disappear?
The light is penetrating
Your long forgotten past.
Open your emotions,
This chance could be your last.

When will you win?
When will you lose?
When will you apologise
To those that you abuse?
The hate that’s running through you veins,
Is burning you with fire.
Don’t wait for it to fill you up,
Keep on climbing higher.

I am the fallen angel
Invisible while I fly.
Guardian of the Earth,
The justice and the right.
I’m the one that no-one knows,
Making the world a better place.
The last one in existence
From a long forgotten race.

When will you fight?
When will you fall?
When will the greed you live with
Make you lose it all?
The power and the pain
The poison and the pleasure,
You have it all, but still want more,
It’s all too much to measure.

When will you lie?
When will you learn?
When will you hidden talents
Begin to earn?
No pain no gain no effort,
Is holding you back,
Come on now and take it,
Before I hold you back.

Hello?
Are you looking for
An answer for the lies?
I’m right here in front of you.
Use your eyes!

When will you live?
When will you die?
When will what you’ve got
Make you cry?
If you don’t hurry up
And sort things out,
Start watching your back,
‘Cos time’s running out.

I am the fallen angel
Invisible while I fly.
Guardian of the Earth,
The justice and the right.
I’m the one that no-one knows,
Making the world a better place.
The last one in existence
From a long forgotten race.

I am the fallen angel,
Who’s living with the lies.
My breath is torn
My heart is cold,
Forever to close my eyes.
