Spare Me Your Apathy

My soul is in dark sea of poison
My heart is tearing at it's seams
My mind just stumbles on things

Caught in a dream,
during a moment of emotion.
I just want a touch of heavenly light
But alone I break
Just to dream of life again

But it's taking me down,
Beyond a level of recovery
Was I loosing my mind?
I looked to heaven and tried to pray

A vision of an angel appeared
Like a star to wondering soul
I was forced from this world for just a while
"There's no need to bleed" it whispered to me

But even angels have their wicked schemes
"Close your eyes and you will see" it said to me with apathy

I never even asked why
With a single blow, it stole my soul
Pouring it dry

I moved but could not feel my limbs
My spirit aches
I'm feeling my way through the darkness again

Eyelids heavy, limbs numb
It's the final hour
It's the end, I fear!
