Russia To The Pacifists

1918

God rest you, peaceful gentlemen, let nothing you dismay,
But--leave your sports a little while--the dead are borne
this way!
Armies dead and Cities dead, past all count or care.
God rest you, merry gentlemen, what portent see you there?
Singing:--Break ground for a wearied host
That have no ground to keep.

Albert Einstein 44 - Dr.Einstein & Dr.Max Planck

Though Albert was a shy, unassuming scientist,
He had the charming ability to connect with people
Through his interesting letters, filled with compelling content.
He made it a habit to write letters to all his dear ones;
Soothing and loving letters to his family,
Sensitive and passionate letters to his women friends,
Sensational theories and discoveries to eminent scientists,
Serene and peaceful letters to pacifists to maintain world peace.
This practice of letter writing, he maintained throughout his life,

“I SPEAK TO THEE OF LIGHT”

The Master spoke…

Brethren, I speak to thee of Light:

The dark/cold void is dead,
The Light warm and life-giving

Verily I say unto thee,

Soldiers To Pacifists

NOT ours to clamor shame on you,
Nor fling a bitter blame on you,
Nor brand a cruel name on you,
That evil name of treason,
You who have heard the ivory flutes,
Who float white banners, brave recruits
Of Peace, seeking to pluck her fruits
In bud and blossom season.
A sterner bugle calls to us;
More direful duty falls to us;

Should We?

Should we all stop eating meat?
No, we'll starve of protein doing that.
But yes, it's morally right.

What about plants?
We'll starve: fruits and berries are all right.
Eat meat instead!

Are we doing enough to avoid nuclear war?
Not enough, we are doomed.

Billowing Clouds Return To Summer's Sunlight

Seemingly sumptuous prophecies incite
the celebrative prognosis of a social revolution.
A visitation to the perennial botanical gardens
exhibits the bountiful heterogeneity of our Nature.
Incidental harmonious symbiotic delights
have warmed the weary heart who pardons
the previous injustices of disturbing convulsions.
Weaving through the paths of wilderness in rapture
we induce our sentiments for a cooperative coalition.
Inspirational waves of contentment clearly overwhelm

Let's Just Dance

Make love and not war
We've heard that saying once before,
We even heard about giving peace a chance.
But, try and try as we may
No one listened to the words that the pacifists did say,
So, instead they listened to warmongers in a trance.
Why not give up on wars and fighting
Together with pens and paper let's all start writing,
Let brotherhood be our main and final stance.
Let's always help one and each other

The Specious Criminal Trial

Which fish
The scuba diver
Is going after?
The big one
Or the small one?
Which sheriff
Is on trial today?
The petty one
Or the pretty one?
Everyone must have its day

War Is An Egregious Blood-Sucker

War is an egregious blood-sucker
War is a dreadful and vainglorious monster
War eats and destroys human flesh
War is not afraid to kill babies in their crèche
War turns brothers against brothers
War is hell and greed. War is hate and death
Both kill the strongest and the helpless
War turns sisters against sisters
At the end of the day, what is left
Is senseless, despicable and meaningless.

Shaheen Bagh Protests: Pros And Cons

They staged it beautifully just like the theatre personae
The common people of common things commonly
Of the street theatres, nukkad sabhas
Or the people doing panchayiti
As spokespersons, protagonists, mouthpieces
Of protests and movements, peace movements
But over continued, overdid they in acting,
Protesting and staging of the drama
Showing the facades of liberty and people's charters,
Constitutionalism and constitution-making

Herald Heard The Hark

Herald heard the hark
After many many ages
herald heard his hark.
Afer eons his own song
listened to the lark.
Finally learned the teaching
of his own emphatic preaching...
Words from his own mouth
to his own soul did arc.
Not what was to him

Warriors & Pacifists

Brother, you choose to walk a warriors path
I choose to walk a path to lasting peace
World has both, so please curtail thy wrath
There’s room for both, to ply our expertise

ROTMS

Terrorists Are Not Tourists

Terrorists should never be invited to the Capitol
Vile trespassers or terrorists are not tourists
It is inviting lions to visit the slaughter house
Many extremists are untrained terrorists
Rioters are terrorists who deserve capital
Punishment by sealing their mouths.

Lawbreakers don't fight for freedom
On the contrary, they destroy our democracy
They are delusional and crazy

Risking All For The Universe

It is very often said that there is a time
For everything, a time when heinous crime
Does not pay and a time to challenge
All which is too utterly strange and frange.

There's a time when the Poet comes out of his shadow
To tell it like it is for the sake of a better tomorrow
To rescue the universe, the world or the country in chaos
And to save his combating soul lost in a gigantic hiatus.

The Secrets Of The Truth

Pacifists looking on, jaws constructed of spider webs,
Flotillas of daydreams eking through the yawn,
And wearied, defeated husbands and wives
Still swearing they’re in love;
And under a naked light above you kiss, your flesh the absence
Of angels,
In a mote where what was suppose to be your ethereal guardian
Emolliates:
You just want to lie down with her in a bed that has been used
By no one else,

Fine Young Yesterday

Soft pacifists in murals of malaise:
I can barely see you sweaty over the bedroom of
My young days,
Because my ears are burning from cheap wine,
They don’t hear reveille or get up on time,
And they are past over like sated lions on Mondays,
And the tourists have all gone down their enthroned
Gullets like strawberry Sundays,
And up in the sky didn’t I say they are advertising
Your wedding day;

Happy Seventieth Birthday To Stevie Wonder

Happy 70th birthday to you, Stevie Wonder
You're amazingly talented. You're a wonder
I am writing for you this piece of poetry
Because you fight for liberty, equality
Fairness, freedom, justice, peace and dignity
Stevie, they call you a civil rights activist
They call me that too, but we're committed pacifists
We raise our voices and open wide our eyes
When our people are hurt. We use our cries
To protest, to fight for their rights to be alive

The Long Government Shut Down By The Orange Alien

This is the destruction of a very beautiful country
This is the dilapidation of an inherited good economy
America has been great for a long time
This is despicable. This is sad. This is a crime
To be torturing so many hard working employees
Over a stupid and inefficient border wall, which one day
Will fall. This barrier will not stop from crossing the bees
The squirrels and the foxes. I am absolutely proud to say
That more people will be able to cross over and to go through
Where there's a will, there is a how and a way. What a fool!

Coffee Time

I sit in Tim Horton's, alone,
Sipping on a cup of their bitter coffee.
With no one to talk to,
And having nothing better to do,
I decide to pass my time
Trying to analyze
The temperament, character and personality
Of the customers who wander in.
I observe their tone of voice,
Their choice of words,

Pacific

Some aren't total
pacifists,
but about some wars pacific.
Re wars they oppose
they are very specific.
