Back turned to me
Tying his shoelace

I have spent eternity
In a burrow, dark and deep
Like a worm beneath the soil
Averting light, stalling life
...

Those souls cursed with pain
Offsprings of fickle joy
Tossed away in vain
Like a broken toy
...

The Sun rose again
For the town
That had once been
...

Ages spent in misery.
Ages yet to go.
What purpose it serves,
One will never know.

Amidst the rising sun
Across the horizon
tides soar with wings

With dawn awoke a bird
That survived the brightest night
Beside, lay the birth-giver
Ashed by the thunderous light

Sweet little hunter
With tiny webbed feet
Stands the surface
Eyeing its prey beneath
