What You See Poem by Ashleigh Gaffney

What You See

Rating: 5.0

Through the eyes of a stranger,
I'm one of a kind,
I'm known to say what's on my mind.

Through the eyes of a stranger,
I have love and concern,
And for me, there's nothing left unturned.

Through the eyes of a stranger,
I'm not foolish or sad,
I don't wish for things I could've had

Through the eyes of a stranger,
There's no scars on my wirsts
My life's not imperfect, there's no sick twists

Through the eyes of a stranger,
I'm someone they know
My feelings hidden, they never show

Through the eyes of a stranger,
They're blind to see,
That this person they know, isn't quite me
