Wake Up Poem by Joshua Merchand

Wake Up

Goldilocks is asleep; her Place is fine
God gave her a Vision, a plan Devine.
So Awake! Sweet child, to find your core.
May mind know: Life is not as idle ore

But life is iron dug from central gloom
Alive means Battered by the shocks of doom.
God gives us the vision to shape your key.
God has to takes us into the valley
And put us through fires, floods to shape us
Til we get to the place He can trust us

With the truth: ver’table reality
Shakespeare said “life’s a stage.” each has a part
Comedy, clear to see is our folly
So admit: tragedy is life unheart
